Global Reach and Volunteer Efforts:

The Church’s impact was truly global, with projects completed in 191 out of 195 countries worldwide. This extensive reach was made possible by the dedication of countless volunteers who contributed an astounding 6,200,000 hours of service. These hours were spent at Church welfare and self-reliance facilities, on missions caring for those in need, and through Church-sponsored community service projects.

Financial Commitment:

In 2023, the Church’s expenditures for aid and humanitarian efforts totaled 1.36 billion dollars. This substantial sum was used to provide assistance to Church members through fast-offering aid, bishops’ orders for goods, and services from welfare and self-reliance operations. Additionally, it funded humanitarian projects and distributions of food and other essential goods to those in need, regardless of their religious affiliation.

Humanitarian Projects:

The Church completed 4,119 humanitarian projects in 2023, benefiting hundreds of thousands of individuals across the globe. These projects spanned various critical areas:

  1. Clean Water and Sanitation: 206 projects
  2. Education: 530 projects
  3. Emergency Relief: 415 projects
  4. Healthcare and Mobility: 601 projects
  5. Food Security: 530 projects
  6. Housing: 374 projects serving the homeless

Other Notable Initiatives:

  • Employment Services facilitated 5,538 job placements.
  • Environmental Stewardship efforts included donating 140,000 trees in Mongolia alone.
  • Mental Health support was provided through 2,926 addiction recovery, support, and therapeutic groups.
  • Self-Reliance was promoted through 14,643 self-reliance groups.
