Previously limited in their missionary service options, single men 40 and older can now serve as full-time senior missionaries, provided they have no dependent children at home. These missionaries will serve in specialized roles that leverage their professional expertise and life experience, including:

- Medical advisory positions
- Legal consultation
- Technical and professional services
- Educational support
Unlike traditional missionary service, these senior elders will work independently rather than in companionships, focusing on their specific areas of responsibility.

- 6-month assignments
